I run a fleet of motorcycles in Braga and I am studying International Relations at the same time. Software happens in between. This is where I put the things that made it out of my computer.
I do not have a method with a nice name. I have a habit: before touching anything, I spend time watching how it behaves on its own. Only then do I build, and I start with the smallest version worth testing. It is slow at the start. It saves months later.
Sites and apps that ship and stay shipped. Next.js, React Native, Supabase, Vercel. I am especially fond of the part nobody puts in a portfolio: the SEO, the accessibility, the infrastructure bill at month end, and the button the owner presses at seven in the morning to change a price without having to call me.
Motofast is the project that eats my days. A mobility solutions company: we rent motorcycles to couriers who do not have four thousand euros lying around, and we run a delivery operation on the same fleet. I learned more about software running this than from reading documentation. A system only really exists once it has survived a Monday morning.
First year at the University of Minho. I went in because I wanted the large-scale version of the questions I ask the operation at month end: who decides, on whose incentive, and what changes when the incentive changes. It still strikes me as the most interesting subject there is.

A courier needs a motorcycle to work and four thousand euros do not appear out of nowhere. Motofast rents them one, covers maintenance and insurance, and runs a delivery operation on top of the same fleet.

Some games build an entire world and then leave you inside it to work out on your own what it means. Cartografia is a channel about those worlds, read through philosophical and psychological lenses. Deliberately untechnical — I care why a world convinces, not how it was assembled.

I keep a whole notebook for the degree: courses, authors, concepts, cases, bibliography. I am opening it in public as I write it, so anyone taking the same courses can use it.
